If there is a large vehicle passing on the side or a stopped vehicle on the shoulder, PlusDrive^® will nudge our vehicle over slightly to be biased in the lane, making room for the large vehicle.

PlusDrive^® keeps the vehicle at a safe following distance and stays within the speed limit. The system adjusts the vehicle’s speed automatically based on the speeds detected of other nearby vehicles. In stop-and-go traffic, the vehicle will come to a full stop as needed.

PlusDrive^® can make automated lane changes at the driver’s request. In certain situations, such as when making room for a vehicle in the breakdown lane or a vehicle moving unsafely slower than the legal limit, PlusDrive^® will suggest a lane change.

PlusDrive^® detects the position and speed of the other vehicles in nearby lanes, as well as driver’s intended path of travel, and then safely merges into traffic.

PlusDrive^® detects objects, such as other vehicles or obstacles, in the vehicle’s path. The system can then alert the driver of the potential collision and take corrective action to prevent the collision from occurring.

PlusDrive^® monitors the area behind and to the sides of the vehicle. The system alerts the driver to the presence of other vehicles in the blind spot, thereby helping to reduce the risk of accidents and improving overall driving safety.

PlusDrive^® detects and measures the distance between the vehicle and nearby objects, such as other parked vehicles and curbs. The system can then calculate the optimal steering angle and speed required to maneuver the vehicle into a parking space.

When a special event occurs, such as a system takeover, then 30-seconds of technical vehicle information is recorded and transmitted for event analysis.

PlusDrive^® incorporates driver attentiveness detection to enhance safe operation. If inattentiveness is detected, the driver will receive audio and visual alerts, and if there is no response the system will bring the vehicle to a safe stop.

PlusDrive^® enables the vehicle to optimize fuel economy by managing braking and throttling in all traffic, road gradient, and curvature conditions. The system consistently achieves a fuel savings or extend battery range of at least 10%.

Continuous updates to PlusDrive^® software are conveniently provided Over-The-Air (OTA) via Wi-Fi or mobile broadband while the vehicle is idle.  Additional features and expansion of the area where PlusDrive^® can operate are delivered through OTA updates.
