Scania, Red Bull, and PlusAI partnered to create something extraordinary:  Two driverless trucks moving in perfect sync to open a less than one-second window for Red Bull athlete, Matt Jones, to jump through the open trailer with his mountain bike. The results? They speak for themselves: Autonomy you can see, measure, and trust.

The Challenge:

Make the impossible possible. Control two moving autonomous trucks with centimeter precision to create a perfect less than one-second window for the extreme jump. All with no humans in the truck and zero margin for error.

The Technology:

Months of global engineering collaboration and thousands of AI-simulations to train and prepare the PlusAI SuperDriveTM robot driver. Every critical variable was calculated, validated, and repeatedly tested on a closed-course.
